Eczema

Also known as atopic dermatitis, this chronic skin condition causes dry, itchy, and inflamed skin, as well as redness, irritation, and small, raised bumps or blisters.

Did you know the term "eczema" comes from the Greek word "ekzein," meaning "to boil out"? This accurately describes the blisters and bumps that often accompany the condition.

It's important to note that eczema is a distinct entity, different from psoriasis, and requires a personalized treatment approach. Our team of experts has extensive experience treating eczema, which often begins in childhood and can be linked to allergies, asthma, and family history. While it's a lifelong condition, we've seen it tend to improve with age, with many patients experiencing fewer and less severe symptoms over time.
