We want your experience with us to be seamless from the moment you book until the moment you leave. Below is everything you need to know regarding insurance, billing, and our streamlined registration process.
Insurance & Coverage Information
At Gemini Dermatology, we partner with a wide range of major health insurance carriers. However, please note that provider contracts can vary by specific plan.
Medical vs. Cosmetic: While most medically necessary treatments for skin conditions are covered, many cosmetic procedures are excluded from standard health plans. We strongly encourage you to review your specific policy details to understand your coverage eligibility prior to treatment.
Verification: Because insurance plans and benefits often reset or change annually, we require current insurance information at every visit. This ensures your records remain up-to-date and allows us to file your claims efficiently, minimizing billing surprises for you.
Required Information
To ensure a smooth check-in process, please have the subscriber’s information ready when scheduling your appointment and present it again upon arrival:
Patient Details: Name, Date of Birth, and ID/Social Security Number.
Policy Details: Coverage start dates and policy type (Individual vs. Group).
Employer Plans: If your insurance is provided through work, we will need the Employer Name and Group Number.
Financial Policy & HSAs
We are committed to financial transparency.
Deductibles & Co-insurance: If you have not yet met your deductible, we will bill your carrier for the visit charges but are required to collect any outstanding deductible or co-insurance at the time of service.
Final Balance: Once we receive the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurer, we will bill you for any remaining balance not covered by the initial payment.
Streamlined Registration

Digital Pre-Check: Before your scheduled time, look for a confirmation text or email from us. This link will guide you through our secure new patient registration.
Smart System: Our system remembers your history, so for future visits, you will only need to update changes rather than starting from scratch.
In-Office Option: We highly recommend registering online to speed up your check-in. However, if you prefer to complete forms in the office, please arrive 15 minutes early to utilize our provided iPads or standard intake paperwork.
