I would like to take a moment to thank Dr. Amit M. Patel, our new dermatologist, who recently moved to Victoria to open his practice here. To say that he is amazing is an understatement. I basically ran him down in the hall while he was moving in and setting up his office.

My very first visit with Dr. Patel was on March 19, 2025.

I have had a small spot on the tip of my nose for about 2 years, thinking that it was just a bug bite that had scabbed over and the scab would not fall off. But come to find out, it was a little more serious than that. After taking a peek and a biopsy, the result was that it was a form of cancer that had not fully developed and had begun “growing.” If it had come “alive,” I would have been in real trouble.

He immediately called a world-renowned dermatologist in Houston, Dr. Tri H. Nguyen, at Texas Surgical Dermatology P.A., and got me an appointment. I saw Dr. Nguyen on May 22, 2025, and the next thing I knew, I was having surgery on June 2, 2025. These guys do not fool around.

Of course, I looked like a “mummy” for a couple of weeks, but believe me, it was worth it. All of the potential cancer was removed, and now I am almost back to my same old face…..with no scars showing at all. Dr. Nguyen is a master with a needle. By the time my healing process is done…..there will be no scars at all…..he promised…..and he kept his word.

So if you want a miracle…..you need to see these two doctors and their staffs. They are amazing. I cannot thank both of them enough. They saved my life.
